Hager Development and Office Building 12 - Interior Design
Blieskastel, 2010 - 2013
Office/administration buildings, Industrial buildings
Hager’s development and office building 12 is located opposite the Euramis office and production building and borders the logistics centre to the south. It houses the technical testing area and development departments, for which hall and office space with meeting rooms, storage areas and various ancillary rooms are available.
The east façade is designed according to the ‘on-off principle’ developed for Hager: open and closed façade surfaces alternate in the form of floor-to-ceiling window bands and white precast concrete elements. The two-storey main entrance is located on the north side and is barrier-free.
The building is divided into a two-storey office wing and a single-storey workshop. The wings are staggered in height, with the height based on the surrounding existing buildings. The hall is intended for expansion. Both wings are separated by a wall, but glazed wall openings allow visual connections between the functional areas. The offices offer great flexibility in terms of floor plan, allowing for open-plan or individual office use. Above the central entrance foyer is a conference room with a balcony. The workshop is divided into single-storey workrooms, whose roof areas are used as additional usable and storage space.
