Energy-efficient construction and renovation is the topic of a training event in the series “Better with Architects” – organised by the Federal Chamber of Architects and the KfW Group, who will provide information on their current funding programme. ‘Best practice’ solutions will also be presented, including the ABG Residential Buildings – a joint model project for low-cost residential construction – by schneider+schumacher and ABG Frankfurt Holding. The houses are highly energy efficient with a low emission rate, thus keeping ancillary costs low for the residents. Elmar Lorey, a member of the management board of schneider+schumacher, will explain how this has been achieved.
The online seminar, targeted at architects and energy consultants, will be held on 18 August from 2pm to 6pm via “Zoom”. The Hessen Chamber of Architects and Town Planners will award seminar participants 4 CPD points. The registration fee is 55 euros.
