In 2017 schneider+schumacher were directly appointed to design a hospital for the city of Kaohsiung in the south of Taiwan. The 12,000 m2 site is located in the centre of the city, where an eight-storey building is planned, consisting of two sections.
The breaking ground ceremony took place yesterday in Kaohsiung, attended by representatives from politics, the executive architectural office, and the building contractor firm.
The building is due for completion in 2021.
