It can kick off soon!

In summer 2018 the new Technical Town Hall, designed by schneider+schumacher, is due to start on site. GBG Mannheimer Wohnungsbaugesellschaft mbH, together with the building concern Implenia, have now appointed a general contractor to construct the building. The new administrative building is located in the ‘Glücksteinquartier’ neighbourhood, opposite Mannheim station.

schneider+schumacher won first prize in a general planning competition in 2016. Besides offices, the building will incorporate meeting rooms and a childcare facility, plus a canteen and industrial kitchen.
