International Design Week 2018

"EAST X WEST – from region to culture" is this year’s topic at the annual Tianjin International Design Week, taking place from 11 to 16 May, showcasing design projects from all over the world.

The travelling exhibition "Contemporary Architecture – Made in Germany" organized by the group Netzwerk Architekturexport NAX will also be presented in this context.

Among other projects, schneider+schumacher will be presenting their scheme for "Teda School", which opened in Tianjin in 2017. As one of the offices associated with NAX, the office also helps to organize the exhibition on site.

Joachim Wendt, Managing Director at schneider+schumacher, will be on site as a NAX Ambassador at the opening on 11 May 2018, and will guide the mayor of Tianjin through the exhibition.
