Reclaiming the city

In conjunction with the opening of today’s exhibition entitled "RIDE A BIKE! Reclaim the City", the Deutsches Architekturmuseum is also presenting sketch designs for the Schweizer Strasse, including a contribution by schneider+schumacher.

Cycling plays a key role in city planning, landscape architecture and traffic planning. To increase the quality of life within the city, more space for bicycles is needed on streets and squares, as well as additional greenery, and plots that are left free of any building structures. Various attempts made to reclaim cities feature at the new exhibition at the DAM, which runs until 2 September 2018.
