Planning permission granted for Mannheim’s Technical Town Hall

At the end of September, Mannheimer Wohnungsbaugesellschaft mbH received planning permission for the new Technical Town Hall in Mannheim. The Town Hall design stems from the office of schneider+schumacher, who won first prize in a competition held in 2016, and who are responsible for work stages 1-4.

Next up on the agenda is the appointment of a general contractor to implement the project, located in the Glückstein district of the city. The project is due to go on site in the first half of 2018. The Town Hall building is due to be occupied as soon as 2020.
