29.09.2017 - Notes

A further milestone has been reached in the museum expansion programme in Frankfurt’s street known as ‘Hirschgraben’. On 11 September, builders, architects, craftsmen as well as key project promoters and sponsors celebrated the topping-out ceremony at the German Romantic Museum. schneider+schumacher’s ‘Bau- und Projektmanagement GmbH’ is responsible for construction management for the entire project and for the detailed design of the residential building, as well as work to the Cantate-Saal.

The German Romantic Museum has been designed by Christoph Mäckler Architekten. The client is ABG FRANKFURT HOLDING. Completion is expected by the end of 2018.

More information about the building project and the future museum is available on 30 September when an Open Day is being held in conjunction with the topping-out ceremony. It is organised by the Deutsche Hochstift under the motto "With Goethe en route to the German Romantic Museum".
