Lightpad nominated

With its understated design, clear lines and technical sophistication, the Lightpad has once again managed to sway a jury. It has been nominated, alongside two other projects, for the Design Prize Switzerland 2017/18 in the category "SwissEnergy Lighting Prize".

The jury highlighted both its function and flexibility for working environments: "Particularly impressive are the light technology aspects. The even illumination of a working area has always been a problem for standard lamps. With Lightpad, this defect has been rectified with the help of a specially developed directional illumination system." 

schneider+schumacher developed the Lightpad in conjunction with Regent, the Swiss lighting company. This award would be the third this year for the floor lamp, having also received a German Design Award and the IF Design Award.
