Frankfurt & me

In the new Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung series entitled "Frankfurt & ich" (Frankfurt and me), inhabitants describe their favourite places in the city. The series started on 14.09.2017 with Michael Schumacher, who took his audience to the Städel Museum. The art museum extension was finished in 2012 and was designed and executed by schneider+schumacher Architects, which Michael Schumacher and Till Schneider have led for almost 30 years. In the video Michael talks about his manifold personal connections with both the Städel Museum and the Städelschule, where he and his partner studied before founding the scheider+schumacher office in Frankfurt at the end of the 1980s. Since then, schneider+schumacher have helped to shape the city, making significant contributions with buildings such as the prominent Westhafen Tower.
