Award for the Campus Bridge

The new Campus Bridge, which creates a connection and a meeting point between the knowledge Centers, Johannes Gutenberg University and the University of Applied Sciences Mainz, enables exchange and promotes cultural diversity, was awarded the "The International Architecture Award 2017". As the name suggests, it was announced worldwide and selects projects of various disciplines such as urban, residential, urban or landscape architecture.

Since 2004 the prize has been awarded by the American architecture museum "The Chicago Athenaeum" together with the "European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies". The Jury session took place in the USA, the award ceremony will be held in Athens and the exhibition of the winning projects will travel through Europe after its start in Greece.
