Award for Visionary Architecture
Although it has not yet been built, it has already won prize – DOXX is “Winner” at the international ICONIC Award 2017.
Since 2013 the Iconic Awards have been awarded by the Rat für Formgebung (German Design Council). The Autobahn Church Siegerland (Best of Best), the Städel Museum (Winner), the Design for the Lower Cable Car Terminal Rüdesheim (Winner) and the wave (Winner) have all been awarded over the last four years. Now the Frankfurt office receives its fifths award.
Due to its distinct shape, the double X-design, and its golden façade, the DOXX convinces many interested visitors. The Cologne-based project developer Pandion AG markets and realizes the residential complex, planned by schneider+schumacher and bb22 in the customs port Mainz. In the mid of July 2017, 20 % of the apartments were already sold. Construction is expected to start this year.
