A nice Duo

Prominent, geometrical, dynamic: These are the attributes that the new Campus Bridge Mainz, spanning the Koblenzer Straße, evokes. Now Falken Tyre used the expressive scenery to present its tires in an advertising photo shoot.

In a working partnership with the Engineering Company Schüßler-Plan schneider+schumacher designed a bridge made of concrete, whose “folded” surfaces of the bottom view and parapet follow the actual flow of force. In doing so a shape emerges that allows a variety of associations.
