31.10.2016 - Notes

In Tianjin, China the construction works at Teda High School progress: most of the glass and stone façade of the first of two construction phases has been completed.

The new school building designed by schneider+schumacher comprises a single five-story building of about 63,000 square meters, with a 180-metre long hallway – the school’s ‘backbone’ – acting as a central element linking all the other key areas: classrooms for a total of 2,700 students, the school cafeteria, the library, an auditorium for 600 people, and the sports hall.
