Green China: NAX goes East

The architectural event organised by the German Chamber of Architects’ Netzwerk Architekturexport (NAX) will kick off with the opening of an exhibition entitled “Contemporary Architecture. Made in Germany”, taking place as part of the Tsinghua Design Academic Week. Two highlights of the trip will be the conference on “Innovative Urban and Environment Planning for the Megacities in China”, and a podium discussion at the residence of the German Ambassador entitled: “Contemporary Chinese architecture – what can Germany learn? How can Germany contribute?”

Two of our directors – Nan Wang and Joachim Wendt – are joining the 24-strong delegation, with representatives from NAX partners, who will be travelling to Beijing from 12-14 October to promote architectural services “Made in Germany”.
