Foundation stone laid at the Allianz Campus Berlin in Adlershof

The office complex, situated at the entrance to the science and medicine city at Berlin-Adlershof, was planned to ensure routes are kept short. schneider+schumacher was responsible for work stages 1 – 4.

Now the foundation stone has been laid for the three-part building ensemble, which, on completion, will provide an inviting, contemporary working environment with long vistas and flexibly designed interiors. The project is also cutting-edge as regards sustainability, and strives to fulfil DGNB platinum requirements – the highest certification awarded by the German Council for Sustainable Building.

The client for the office complex is CORPUS SIREO Adlershof Projektentwicklung GmbH & Co. KG, who have developed the project as a joint venture with FOM Real Estate Heidelberg. The responsibility for turnkey implementation lies in the hands of FOM Real Estate GmbH, who are working together with Ed. Züblin AG, Stuttgart in a “partnering process”.

The FOM Real Estate GmbH website shows a time-lapse film of the start of work on site, plus live coverage via three webcams. Construction work is due for completion in spring 2019.
