1. prize in international school building competition in China

In the international comeptition for the renovation of Teda High School in Tianjin, schneider+schumacher won 1. prize. With their innovative proposal to not refurbish but replace the old school building by a new one, the office was able to assert itself against competitors.

It is the second huge construction site for the schneider+schumacher’s China office. Acquired also within an urban design competition, the office develops the Civic Center Hangzhou in synchron.
