glasstec 2026

From October 20 to 23, 2026, the international glass industry will meet at glasstec in Düsseldorf. How glass and digital technologies can contribute to climate-neutral architecture is the theme of the architecture forum. On October 22, internationally renowned architecture firms and experts will present current projects and approaches to architecture and building envelopes.

Our partner Joachim Wendt will speak at 5 p.m. about the Kao-Ho Hospital in Taiwan and its translucent building envelope. The façade consists of fritted U-profile structural glass that covers the two building sections and the inner courtyard across their entire surface. At night, the interior lighting makes the building behind the glass façade glow.

The architecture forum takes place from 12:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Stage 3 – glass technology live in Hall 11, Booth C28. Admission is included in the glasstec ticket price. Further information about the architecture forum.
