Topping-out ceremony at Lake Wörthersee

There was cause for celebration in mid-May at the Lakeside Living III project in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee: the structural work on all three buildings is now complete. The Vienna-based office of schneider+schumacher designed the development – comprising a total of 173 owner-occupied flats – on behalf of Riedergarten Immobilien; it consists of two block buildings arranged in a slightly staggered formation, as well as a terraced house.

Work on the façades and interiors of the tower blocks is also progressing rapidly. Since construction began in February 2025, the project has thus taken on a much clearer form – completion is scheduled for spring 2027. The new buildings complement the four tower blocks of the neighbouring development phase “Lakeside Living II”, which was also designed by schneider+schumacher and completed in 2021.
