Renovate, but how?

In a radio interview with Politopia Magazine on Radio X, our partner Astrid Wuttke discusses the possibilities of adaptive reuse. Reinforced concrete skeleton structures, such as the Juridicum, are well-suited to adaptive reuse provided they have sufficient floor-to-ceiling height. Various refurbishment scenarios can be incorporated into the structure; the façade can be completely replaced. Her appeal: the City of Frankfurt should show more courage in pursuing adaptive reuse.
