Completion ceremony at Frankfurt Airport

Construction work on the new Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport was completed on schedule. To celebrate this milestone, Fraport AG invited everyone involved in the project to an official completion ceremony in February. Designed by Frankfurt architect Christoph Mäckler, Terminal 3 will ultimately comprise four piers (G, H, J and K). Piers G, H and J were initially completed in two construction phases. schneider+schumacher Bau- und Projektmanagement GmbH was responsible for supervising Pier G during both construction phases.

The new Terminal 3 is currently in trial operation. The official opening of the terminal is scheduled for 22 April 2026.
