Panel discussion on the issue of vacant properties

Entitled “Vacancies as living space – but how? Experiences, scope for action, and challenges,” a panel discussion will be held on February 5 at 7 p.m., followed by a bar evening at the Kultur- und Wissensraum 2og:dondorf in the former Dondorf printing plant. Astrid Wuttke, partner at schneider+schumacher, will contribute her expertise in the field of further construction and talk to Katharina Wagner (head of the Office for Housing in Frankfurt) and Christof Schwarz (Initiative Eine Stadt für Alle) about how to combat the vacancy problem. The panel discussion will be moderated by Felix Wiegand from the Institute for Social Research (IfS).
The event is part of the series “WohnWendeWerkstatt. Housing policy conflicts and socio-ecological perspectives in Frankfurt,” organized by the Housing Lab at the Institute for Social Research with the support of the DFG Research Training Group Gewohnter Wandel.
