Topping-out ceremony at the Riedberg campus

At the end of October, a topping-out ceremony took place for the new four-storey building designed by Auer Weber Architekten for the Institute of Computer Science and Mathematics at Goethe University Frankfurt on Riedbergallee. Work on the structural shell, which began in February 2024, is now finished. Construction work on the building envelope and the interior is now beginning.

 

schneider+schumacher is responsible for cost and schedule planning, tendering and the site supervision of the new institute building. The project is scheduled for completion in 2027 when the faculties of computer science and mathematics, comprising a total of around 5,500 students, are due to move in. Until now, these two faculties have been housed on the Bockenheim campus.
