City'Scape Award 2025
schneider+schumacher’s office building designed for the amedes Group has been honoured at the City’Scape Awards 2025, coming third in the Hi-Tech Landscape category.
More specifically, the award was given for the building’s south façade planned by Wette+Gödecke Landschaftsarchitektur: a 400m2 vertically planted surface on which a total of 19,080 pre-cultivated perennials, grasses and small shrubs are installed in a support system. The façade thus combines aesthetics with biodiversity.
The amedes Competence Centre is the first project in the ‘Herbert-Quandt-Strasse Innovation Quarter’– Göttingen’s new location for medicine, life sciences, science and research – currently being developed by EBR Immobilien Invest GmbH.
