BDA Day in Darmstadt

30.04.2025 - Notes

Entitled ‘Material for Transformation. Architecture and Expertise’, the Association of German Architects is organising the 20th BDA Day on 24 and 25 May. The event will start in the Centralstation Darmstadt, including various thematic blocks on requirements for housing and urban development, where the BDA’s current position statement will also be presented. This will be followed by a Pecha Kucha evening in the Faculty of Architecture at TU Darmstadt. On the second day, five architectural walks will be offered simultaneously from 11:00 to 13:00. Our partner Astrid Wuttke will guide visitors to the Mathildenhöhe, while other tours will lead people through Darmstadt’s city centre to vacant lots and open spaces as well as the ‘Master Buildings’ of the 1950s.

All the events are free of charge. Advance registration is required.
