Heinze ArchitekTOUR

In cooperation with the State Chamber of Architects, Heinze is presenting a multimedia exhibition including some renowned architectural projects and inspiring Pecha Kucha lectures. ‘Projects 25’ is the motto for the new format, which will be shown in six different cities across Germany. The exhibition will be launched in Offenbach am Main on Tuesday, 6 May from 12 noon to 7:45 pm, followed by a get-together.

Our partner Kai Otto will be presenting the Städel Roof Project, which opened in spring 2024, as part of the Pecha Kucha lectures (project presentation at Heinze). It will also feature in the exhibition. The new Städel roof offers an unparalleled panoramic view of Frankfurt’s skyline. The terrace, perched some 15 metres above ground level, is located above the main entrance to the museum. Two spiral staircases made of steel created a space-saving solution for the internal staircase access, which meant no structural changes were necessary to the listed façade. These two cylinders, each with 50 steps, create sculptural linking elements that mediate between the existing and the new.
